MBB 196 Undergraduate Seminar: Microbial Metalheads: Endophytes as agents for heavy metal bioremediation

Heavy metal pollutants from industrial activities impair soil and water quality, threatening ecosystems and human livelihoods; metal contamination in agricultural lands, for example, may disrupt crop growth. Perhaps a solution lies within plants themselves, and how we can harness their potential for sustainable remediation approaches.
Join us this Friday, February 28, 2025 at 1:00PM in Room 105 of the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, to learn more about plant-associated microorganisms and how they can be applied as biofertilizer, biocontrol, and bioremediation agents, through an MBB 196 Undergraduate Seminar entitled “Microbial Metalheads: Endophytes as agents for heavy metal bioremediation”. See you then
