Bioinformatics Workshop: Introduction to SARS-CoV-2 Evolutionary Genomics

The Philippine Genome Center Core Facility for Bioinformatics is hosting a three-day bioinformatics training workshop on SARS-CoV-2 evolutionary genomics, to be conducted by Isaiah Paolo A. Lee, PhD. The event will be held over a one-week period from November 28 (Monday) to December 5 (Monday).
 
Interested individuals from the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, the Institute of Biology, and the Philippine Genome Center at UP Diliman are invited to apply.
 
Workshop Schedule:
November 28 (Monday): Introduction to Phylogenetics
December 2 (Friday): Introduction to Recombination
December 5 (Monday): Introduction to Evolutionary Theory
 
Venue: PGC Lecture Hall 2 (2nd floor)
Time: 1:00 – 5:00 PM
 
How to apply:
Junior and senior undergraduates, graduate students, research staff, and junior faculty will be prioritized for acceptance. Attendance is free for accepted applicants.
